Rodd opened a restaurant in Melbourne, which he ran for three years. After starting a family, he wanted a more balanced lifestyle within the hospitality sector and created Inspired Ingredients after seeing a gap in the market for freeze-dried products.
Favourite ingredients – Freeze-dried apple and black garlic
Mickaël joined the Inspired team in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience in sales and management across Australia and France.
Mickaël is a natural leader who excels in people management, process improvement and strategic planning for organisational growth. With over seven years of experience in the Australian food service industry, he brings stability to the company as it grows.
Favourite ingredients – Foie gras and freeze-dried strawberries
Jasmine brings a plethora of technical knowledge to the Inspired Ingredients Team.
As an avid cook, combined with over a decade of experience in the food service sector, Jasmine is our resident technical expert; whether it be molecular ingredients, pastry ingredients, Japanese products or the latest culinary trends and innovations, she knows it all!

Jack joined the Inspired team fresh out of high school, packing our freeze-dried ingredients.
Jack knows his way around our packaging procedures like the back of his hand and works on our freeze-dried production line, packing our products ready to be shipped to wholesale and retail customers around Australia.
Favourite ingredients– freeze-dried raspberries and Soleo 42% Milk Chocolate by Cuvée Chocolate.
